Umweltschutz beginnt beim Verhalten jedes einzelnen Menschen, Abfälle ordnungsgemäß zu entsorgen. Doch es gibt immer noch erschütternd viele Leute, die ihren Mist – Bierdosen, Plastikflaschen, FFP2-Masken, Zigaretten und Zigarettenpackungen – sorglos wegschmeißen: am Donaukanal ebenso wie auf Bergstraßen und sogar entlang von Wanderwegen.
Auf jede Diagnose soll eine Handlung bzw Behandlung folgen. Dies kann eine Kampagne zur Bewusstseins-Bildung leisten! Mit dem Projekt Osterputz 2022 wird Hubert Thurnhofer zwei österreichweite Aktionstage organisieren. In ganz Österreich werden hunderte Freiwillige Straßen, Plätze und Wanderwege weggeworfenen Müll sammeln und ordnungsgemäß entsorgen! Das gute Vorbild soll Schule machen!
Die Aktionstage OsterPutz2022 sind am Karfreitag, 15. April 2022 und Karsamstag, 16. April 2022.

Der Moral-Philosoph Hubert Thurnhofer schildert in seiner Realsatire „Der größte Vollidiot auf Gottes Erdboden“ wie sich ein verzweifelter Mensch für Sauberkeit und Umweltschutz einsetzt. Der Essay wurde auch in der Literaturzeitung „Zaunkönig“ publiziert. Wer sind die Leute, die gewissenlos und seelenlos die Mutter Erde schänden? Sie werden schwer zu finden sein, aber der „Zorn Gottes“ (Römer 1, 18) wird sie nicht übersehen! Weitere Veröffentlichungen des Textes in in „Der literarische Zaunkönig“ 1/2007 + im Sammelband „Anima. Lyrik und Prosa“ 2018, Herausgegeben von Diana Wiedra.
Eine Erregung, die beim Jüngsten Gericht den Zorn Gottes wecken könnte.
